Today I am super thankful for the opportunity to have some of my fine art in the Krasl Artisan Market. I had an array of gallery-wrapped canvases and prints on display tonight for the Premier party. Before we left for the night, I wanted a picture next to my "big boy" canvas.
I ordered my Wind and Waves canvas in 48 x 36 because I wanted to make a statement. It was large and in charge. It was really expensive to produce. I never ever expected for it to sell at this event.
I went and stood by the canvas to get a picture with it. After the first one, I looked down and saw a "SOLD" sticker underneath it and started laughing hysterically. I am so ecstatic. I wish I could've met the purchaser, but I didn't get to. I did see an interested party asked for it to be taken off the wall. I assumed when they saw the price, they wouldn't want it. I guess I was wrong.
This print really was gorgeous at this size. I'm so glad it found a home.
