30 Day Photo Challenge : Day 1

I'm joining Kaity Fuja of OMG Photography in a 30 day photo challenge. She did it with some relatives of hers last year, and when she opened it up to outsiders this year, I couldn't resist. This years theme is Thankfulness. Which I'm so thankful for. Really. With all the hustle and bustle of our busy, busy lives, it's really hard to stop and count our blessings sometimes. Day 1: Today I am thankful for great photog friends

This is her. The girl herself, Kaity. (Forgive the crazy focus in this image. Kaity was kind enough to allow me to use her camera and I fudged the focus up.) I first met Kaity when I decided to volunteer for the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep organization. It was obvious from our first meeting that we were going to be  friends. Tonight we had dinner at Fiddler's Hearth in South Bend, followed by hot chocolate at The Chocolate Cafe. It was delish.

I love meeting other photogs. Especially when they're as awesome as Kaity. She gives me such great advice about business and we have each other to tell our crazy photography stories to. We are headed to Las Vegas in March for WPPI and I seriously cannot wait to spend a week with this girl! She's super friendly, creative, and she can rock a pixie cut in every color out there. When I first met her she was a redhead, then a bleach blonde. Now she's rocking out to brunette. She looks great in everything.
