Vaughn and Michele have one of the sweetest proposal stories ever. It was the one and a half year anniversary of their first date. Vaughn told Michele that he had reserved the table they sat at on that date, and they had to leave a seven o'clock. While Michele was getting ready, Vaughn walks into her room and hands her a card, telling her to follow the directions and then walked away. The card said that instead of writing a few sentences of how he felt about her, he wanted to tell her in person this time, so come into the living room when you are ready. She went into the living room where Vaughn was with his guitar. He wrote her a song. Halfway through the song, Michele figured out what was happening and couldn't wait for him to finish. After the song, he pulled out the ring and she said yes!
Afterwards, they headed out to the restaurant, but walked past "the table". Michele was about to say something when they reached the back room and were greeted by a big SURPRISE! Michele and Vaughn's parents and three of their closest friends were there to celebrate. It didn't end there... Vaughn also arranged for their other friends in town to meet up back at their house where they celebrated the night away!
Because Saint Joseph is so special to them, we hit some of the hot spots in town like
The Buck and
The Southbend Chocolate Cafe. I can't wait to celebrate their wedding next November!
Enjoying a couple of beers at The Buck!
Nothing better than hot chocolate on a cold November day!
