Daniel & Ben : Traverse City Wedding Photographer

Ben and I both attended Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We both got degrees in Graphic Design and Photography. We both were unwilling to choose just one path. I instantly liked Ben from the moment we met. He is good natured, easy going, and witty. I remember laughing a lot whenever we talked.

Ben hired me to photograph his brother Dan's wedding last year, where I met Daniel for the first time. A few months later, Daniel sent me a sweet e-mail asking if I would photograph their union. I couldn't have been more happy for them!

Daniel and Ben spoke amazing vows to each other in one of my favorite areas on this planet. They were united at Forty-Five North Vineyard & Winery amongst friends and raindrops. A much drier reception was held at Park Place Hotel, complete with amazing views. 

 The sky was amazing with the incoming storm.

 We took photos in front of this barn right before the sky let loose.

We hid out in the barn and watched the storm.
I absolutely loved their suits and boutonnieres.

 Their ceremony was so heartfelt and touching.
The rain stopped momentarily while they said their vows.

 Top of the Park has amazing views. It was stunning up there.

 We got to watch an amazing sunset followed by a great dusk over the city.

 Ben DJ'd his own wedding. I'm sure that's breaking some kind of law.
But it was amazing and he had an amazing laser show at the end of the night.
