Melina & Joe : Elberta Lifesaving Station Michigan Wedding

This past weekend we got to go to one of my favorite venues, The Elberta Lifesaving Station. Perfect for a summer wedding, it's large deck and windows overlook Betsie Lake, which flows out to Lake Michigan. It's the perfect place for a Lake Michigan wedding!

Joe and Melina fell in love with Northern Michigan and decided to have their destination wedding on it's beautiful shores. Here are some highlights from their gorgeous wedding:

Their hand-written vows had them welling up with emotion.
Joe even managed to start his vows with "Quantum Entanglement". Classic!

These DIY flowers were to die for! Melina just picked up plants from the local farmer's market that looked good and with the help of her mother, aunts, and friends, did all of the floral arrangements for the wedding.

Instead of cake, this couple kept it rustic and local with homemade pies from a local bakery!

No summer wedding is complete without lawn games!
They even had giant Jenga (hard hats required)!
