30 Day Photo Challenge : Day 7

Today was my loving boyfriend's birthday. This is the eighth birthday I've gotten to celebrate with him. I packed him a bag full of treats for work, and then we went to dinner and I surprised him with this cake from a local bakery that makes REALLY good cake. We're going to celebrate at Outback Steakhouse (his favorite restaurant) this weekend, after hitting up a huge candy store in Merrilville, IN.

Today I am most thankful for Doug. He is my rock, my bridge, my partner. I honestly don't know how he does it. He's seen my best and he's definitely seen my worst. And he's still here. He can look at me and know exactly how I'm feeling. Our relationship is nowhere near perfect, but it certainly feels perfect most of the time.
